Squash Recipe


Spaghetti Squash with garlic and olive oil like a boat
Easy Spaghetti Squash recipe  

Ingredients:
1 whole spaghetti squash
5 cloves garlic
tablespoon good olive oil
salt
pepper
6 fresh basil leaves
canned good marinara sauce
Parmesan cheese for those who are not vegan 



Cut the squash in half (this is the hardest part)
scoop the seeds out 
place on a tray or cookie sheet with sides
4 or 5 garlic cloves per half
tablespoon of olive oil for each half
salt and pepper to taste
bake in oven until tender
I say this because you can bake at 350 for 35 minutes
or 375 for 30 - 
put in other rack when you are baking or roasting something else

Is ready when the skin is shiny and flesh is soft

Smash the garlic cloves, scoop out the flesh

Can be stirred into marinara sauce or
plated as if it were noodles with hot sauce on top

Tear a few fresh basil leaves on top
Dinner is served
Easy Healthy (well I sprinkled a little Parmesan cheese
cheese on mine)
I saved half for daughter who is vegan
Prep time: 2 minutes
bake time: around 30 minutes 

Nutrition: Vitamin A, Thiamin, Niacin, Phosphorus and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Riboflavin,Vitamin B6, Folate, Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese Plus 
lots of fiber and yummy memories.
